What is a CRB check?

A CRB check (Credit Reference Bureau check) is a report that shows a person’s credit history — loans, repayment behaviour and any records that lenders or employers use to assess financial standing. At Credit Check Online we help you request an official CRB status report or a clearance certificate when needed.

  • Call one of our agents, provide your basic details and documents, make payment, and we’ll submit the request on your behalf. We’ll keep you updated by SMS or email and deliver the report when ready. If you prefer, request a callback on the site and an agent will call you back.

A standard CRB status check usually takes only a few minutes. If you need an official clearance certificate, that may take 1–3 business days depending on processing and completeness of documents. Express options may be available for faster delivery.

  • National ID or passport (valid ID).

  • Payment confirmation (M-Pesa, bank transfer, etc.).
    Our Agents will clarify the exact documents required on your call.

Reports are delivered by SMS and email as a secure PDF link. If you prefer physical copies or need a printed certificate, tell the agent and we’ll arrange collection or delivery options where possible.

We currently accept M-Pesa, bank transfers and other local payment options. Payment instructions are provided when you place the order and processing begins once payment is confirmed.

If you spot incorrect information, call our support line right away and we’ll guide you through the dispute or correction process with the CRB — including what documents you’ll need and how we can assist with submission.
